Instead of writing an original blog, I’ve been sifting through the ones I wrote this year and kindling memories of experiences, people, and places. I’d have to say that my blogs are quite an eclectic mix. I do enjoy writing them and am grateful that I have an audience that reads them!
So this can be considered my “Favorite Blogs of 2016.”
Funniest Blog: Hands down, it was the story about traveling to Nashville to deliver my stepdaughter’s cat, Littles.

Littles doesn’t like to travel. Or so says Ashley, who is prone to ever-so-slight exaggeration. According to her, Littles – her cat – defecates (shits) every time she takes him in a car. And so I heard myself say to her, in a moment of maternal selflessness, “I’ll fly… (Read more)
Most Life-Changing Post: There’s nothing like a serious medical diagnosis to turn one’s world upside down – in an instant – at the most inconvenient time. Somehow, I managed to find some humor in the situation . . . as these two posts will reveal.

A funny thing happened to me on Wednesday.
Not the kind of “ha ha” funny, but “hmmmm, that’s interesting” kind of funny.

Trickiest/Riskiest Post: My blog is generally about travel, but sometimes I have to be true to my values and risk alienating people. This blog expressed my thoughts about the election and garnered some very thoughtful comments.

March 1st – Day 1: I missed my flight.
This should not happen to a travel professional.
Especially since I was the tour leader for this small group. And especially since my husband and friend, Jill, trusted me – so they missed the flight, too. (read more)
