Better Ambassadors Through Culture

As an American traveler, stepping off the plane onto Cuban soil is a wicked feeling – though most of the free (and-not-so-free) world does so with aplomb.  You know you really shouldn’t be here; and yet, here you are.

Some Americans blatantly ignore the rules, traveling to Cuba with seeming impunity, daring complacent customs officers to check their cases for contraband cigars.  Others file in under legal means with government-issued visas, which cover some businesses and most media.  Marilyn Murphy is different.
