Notice that the Tere Moana yacht – with her 44 staterooms for 88 privileged passengers – is docked right along the canal’s edge – a stone’s throw from St. Mark’s Square. Meanwhile, the massive 3,500-passenger MSC Divina (with 1,752 staterooms) floats slowly past (lest she create a tsunami-sized wake that would flood out the city!), en route to the big ship terminal – a far, far distance from the sights everyone has come here to see.
