Happy Monday!

Recently, on an American Airlines’ flight from JFK to LAX, I watched their in-flight video, “Best Jobs Ever.”  The segment profiled people who can’t wait for Monday because they love what they do so much . . .

• Like the two guys in New York who buy expensive exotic cars with other people’s money, drive really fast, and come up with testosterone-fueled weekly events to keep their 300+ members happy…

• Or the corporate lawyer who gave up a six-figure salary to play with Legos back in 2004. Today, he’s a “Lego Certified Professional” whose work can be seen in museums and art galleries all over the world…

• Or the guy who photographs nearly-naked supermodels for the Victoria’s Secret catalog . . .

So . . . what about the woman who gets to travel the world in search of the most amazing destinations to “wow” her customers? And once she’s found such a place, she gets to dream up an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.  And once she’s dreamed it up, she gets to collaborate with like-minded employees and suppliers who help deliver the dream – flawlessly and effortlessly (or so it seems).

Then, while delivering that dream, she witnesses the traveler’s joy and delight as the journey progresses and the surprises are revealed day by day.  And afterwards, she gets accolades and appreciation.  The clients are so delighted that they choose her to do it again and challenge her to think up something even better for next year’s adventure!  And the cycle continues . . .

AND she makes a living at it!
